Baby Meets Bunny

On Tuesday Liam and I headed over to the mall to meet someone very special... The Easter Bunny!
Liam was quite taken with the colorful surroundings but not so sure about his new friend. "Who is this guy again, Mommy? Why is he so hairy?"He didn't cry and he also made it very clear that he was not going to smile.

The Easter Bunny probably thought that I was pretty entertaining trying to get him to though!

I'd say it was a good meet and greet. Feel free to bring us lots of treats when you visit our house Saturday night, Easter Bunny!

Away With The Manger?

While I'm getting current on posts, let's get really current and talk about this morning. Liam has slept and hung out in his manger since almost the very beginning. You know what the manger is, right? It's the polka dotted background in many of Liam's pictures. We knew the beginning of the end for the manger was coming a few weeks ago when Liam started doing this...

This morning, when I came back into the bedroom from washing my face, I saw a scene much like this only imagine Liam's face was where his bottom should be and his legs hanging over the front of the manger! I don't have a picture of this for you because I had to rescue my baby. He was yelling, frustrated about this new position, but other than that he seemed unfazed. So, it seems that this could be the end of the manger and the beginning of his crib.

Liam has spent some time in his crib since Daddy set it up.

He likes his musical mobile...

...and he thinks it's great for playtime.

He's just not quite sure he's ready for it to be the place where he sleeps. Luckily, since he still likes to be swaddled(he doesn't flip over when swaddled), we still have some time to make this a smooth transition...for all of us!

A little taste of our morning.

Rollie Pollie Liam

That's right, people! When I said BIG things were happening, I meant it. On March 21st Liam rolled over!! I am leaving you with a bit of a cliff hanger and will be uploading a video soon.

He was enjoying tummy time on his side (he'd mostly been on his side, the only thing in his way was that darn arm) and then just did it! I was so excited and so was he. "What is this new trick I do that makes Mommy so happy?? Guess I'll do it every time they put me down!"

Adam Gregory Jr.

When Liam and I woke up on March 24th, Daddy wasn't at home. He also wasn't at work. He had gone to Waco during the night because Aunt Angie was in labor! Adam Gregory Jr was born at 11:26 that morning! Liam and I went to our first Kindermusik class and then we were off to Waco to meet his brand new cousin. Here are Liam and Adam Jr. meeting for the first time. They are 4 months and 1 day apart.

Liam was trying to let him know that there is a good life outside of that comfortable womb, and hospital.

Adam Gregory Jr. 7 lbs, 9 oz, 20 inches

Welcome to the world, Adam! You have a lot of family that loves you and a cousin who wants to play with you as much as possible.
