Liam Jackson
~Time to catch up! I have pictures of EVERYTHING just itching to get on here. I'll be posting new and old posts all at the same time...the dates and noticeable changes in Liam will help you out. The side picture is from Liam's Jungle Birthday Bash for his 2nd birthday. Our lion cub is healthy, strong, happy, and smart! ~

God Bless West

We love our family in West very much.
We are so happy that we got to see many of them so recently...

Wednesday evening we received news that there had been a terrible tragedy. There was an explosion at the fertilizer plant in West. Great Granny & Great Grandpa's house is in the last ring. We are all so blessed and grateful that they were outside when the explosion happened because they, unlike their home, were unharmed. We received news very quickly, from Granny & Pappy, that our entire family was OK. Thank you, God.
There are still many others to pray for. There is still the beautiful town to pray for. Liam and I wanted to do something to show our support for our family and the beautiful town that has always been my second home. So... we made our own sign.
Liam doesn't really know what has happened so there was a bit of confusion involved...
...but he was ready to show his support!

(The heart of gold has his hand prints in it.)
We are proudly displaying it in our window.
Flags are at half staff to mourn the loss of many loved ones and heroes. (This is the flag at the entry to our new neighborhood)
We are thinking about our family and the town of West non stop, and keeping them in our prayers.

 GOD BLESS WEST!

Facing Forward

What?? Our little man is big enough to face forward in his car seat?!
Better get to it, Daddy!
Liam has no problem keeping himself occupied in the front seat...

Wait a minute....

Hmmm....
Mission accomplished!
Liam loves facing forward! It's a whole new adventure. Eventually, his DVD player will make it's way back in front of him. For now, the novelty of this new adventure is enough.
I'm loving it too. It feels more like we're in the same "room." Also, I get to use my "Mommy mirror!" (No worries- taken in the drive way, of course!)

Here's a video of Liam's first car ride facing forward. Liam is talking up a storm now. He does still keep in touch with "Liam speak" too. We, of course, love it....we love what he loves. ; )
