Daddy's Game

It all started with Liam bringing Daddy 3 balloons. Then he would either climb up him or get him to pick him up and they would hug with the balloons in between them.

That turned into Liam bringing Daddy whatever was laying around in the room...
...and he had to hold on to it all at once!

This is Liam contemplating what he can find to bring Daddy next.

What's next??

Eggtastrophe!!

Liam has had things with eggs in them, but never eggs by themselves. I decided to make him his very own scrambled egg this morning. That's just egg, no seasonings or butter. His interest in it was about what I expected, "You expect me to eat this squishy weird looking stuff??" In fact, he did not ingest any of his egg. It went in his mouth, when I tried to feed him some, and was spit back out immediately. You can imagine the shock I received when it was time to get out of his high chair and I saw this...
He was rubbing his itchy face a lot but, otherwise, wasn't acting any differently (thank God no problems with breathing). He did not, however, think this was the appropriate time for pictures.
Really these photos don't show all of the little raised hives he had along with those splotchy read spots. I called the doctor to find out how much Children's Benadryl I could give him. Once I decided I could no longer wait for the return call I gave him a small dose (.8, which is very small considering it turns out he can have a teaspoon). Within just a few minutes his face cleared up. Mind you, none of this kept him from playing and carrying on as he normally does. Crisis averted but what a scary morning! He took a nice long nap and woke up with no evidence of the "Eggtastrophe."
We went to the grocery store and decided that we did NOT need eggs. Everything is back to normal in Liam's world!
