The Easter Bunny 2013!!
I was so excited for you to see The Easter Bunny this year, based on your interaction with Santa. We met Miss Jodi, Kaia, and baby Kash at the mall to go see him.
You were in your stroller and when I unbuckled you, you were off in a flash. You ran up to The Easter Bunny and gave him a BIG hug. You were so happy to be sitting with him.
After sitting with The Easter Bunny for a good amount of time you said "Bye, bye bunny!" You waved at him all the way back to your stroller, happy as could be.
I would say that Kash's first interaction was a huge success!
Kaia was not so easily convinced that sitting in The Easter Bunny's lap was the thing to do...
Besides, there were so many other things to look at!
They did end up with a very cute picture!
After Liam's sit with The Easter Bunny we walked the mall a bit to let Kaia decide that she was ready to sit with him. When we went back Liam wanted to say "hi" again. I am thrilled that I got this on video! It happened so quickly the first time!

"Please, me stir?"
Liam loves ice so he had it while we were playing outside, along with his water.
I had a glass of ice water, which is what he is asking to stir.
I love the way he moves his body telling me what he wants to do.
"Please, me stir?"
(A plane flies overhead at the end...)

Kissing Whole Milk "Bye Bye"
Liam LOVES milk. We recently decided that it was time to transition to 2%. We went slowly, 3/4 whole milk to 1/4 2% etc. He didn't really notice a difference. This was nowhere near the heartache and culture shock of switching from Mommy's milk to cows milk.

T-Ball!!
Liam got a few very cool things from Great Granny and Great Grandpa for Christmas...
T-ball was one of them!
Liam was very excited when I brought it outside and ready to get a few lessons from Daddy.
He catches on quickly...
It's safe to say that T-ball is a huge hit!

No Ice Cream, Please
Everyone loves ice cream, right? Especially a toddler who loves milk and crushed ice, right?
Wrong!
On Valentine's Day I had a special treat for Liam, an ice cream cone! He had tried ice cream before.
He wasn't crazy about it, but didn't love it. I thought that introducing the ice cream cone side by side with his play one would give him a good perspective...
He didn't buy it.I did get him to taste it. He didn't spit it out but, again, wasn't crazy about it. He also wanted me to wipe it off his mouth (not a fan of being messy). Then, for some reason, I think he was trying to figure out a way to let me know that he really didn't want it...
...just a thought...
He wasn't thrilled about me sitting it upright...
,,,but he took care of that himself and all is right in the world. Also, Mommy got to have an ice cream cone!
Liam may not be a big fan of ice cream yet but he's as sweet as he can be all on his own!

Valentine's Day 2013
Preparation for Valentine's Day starts a few weeks in advance. This is because Liam has to carefully choose decorations and then create his Valentine's!
I love Valentine's Day so much that I decided that we would be celebrating all week. On the 12th we went to the mall for Liam's first Build-A-Bear experience. I'm pretty sure there was no mistake in placing the merry-go-round (which we ride often) directly across from Build-A-Bear. Liam was pretty distracted by it and it took some convincing to get him interested in the task at hand...picking an animal. After looking at a few he spotted the winner and said "Whoa, that's a moo!!" After making "Moo" with love we, of course, went to ride the merry-go-round.
Liam always loves the merry-go-round and I love seeing him so thrilled by it.
We stopped outside to capture some pictures with Moo. Liam really enjoyed the stuffing machine, kissing the heart, and giving Moo a bath. Picking out clothes, not so much. The name was easy, he chose that right off the bat!
Chewin' the cud.The next day was baking day! We made dark chocolate fudge brownies and red velvet cake hearts. (Liam did all of the sprinkles.)
Valentine's Day morning Liam woke up to this. Moo was watching over his Valentine from Mommy and Daddy all night.
Inside was The Lion King and a heart full of...SKITTLES!!
Liam made his Valentine deliveries to Lexy...
...and Texan.
Then he noticed something special that Daddy got for Mommy.
After breakfast it was time to go see Daddy at work! We were ready to go with his Valentine and the treats we made for Daddy and his co-workers.
He was very happy to see us. This was also our first visit since Daddy switched offices.
On our way out there was another treat for Liam, a glass elevator! There is one in our mall and we always go in ,whether we need to or not...it's just fun! This one was extra special because he had it all to himself...with Daddy in it!
After we said goodbye to Daddy at work, we were off to the next exciting thing.... picking up Liam's one dozen heart balloons! We got them last year and there was no way that it wasn't going to become a tradition. (not sure who was more excited!) This year Liam walked out with them himself.
Once we were home it was time to party with the balloons!
Liam gave Tex & Lex the other treats he got them a couple weeks before.
They were quite pleased.
We partied our pants off!
Did I mention that we were celebrating all week? Daddy came home from work the next evening and Liam came running in to give me this yummy box of chocolates! Since then he has requested Daddy to get the box down for him so that he can bring it to me. Needless to say, I've been eating a lot of chocolate!
I'm one lucky Momma!
This was one of Daddy's Valentine's Day surprises... a Liam Valentine Tree!
